Gourmet Farms' CEO Ernest Escaler led the euphoric throng of friends and family who flew to Rome to attend Archbishop Luis Antonio Tagle's elevation to the College of Cardinals in November, 2012. Cardinal Tagle returned to the Vatican this week to attend Pope Benedict's final events before the voluntary end of his pontificate. The young (55) Cardinal from the Philippines is expected to be an important participant in the conclave of Cardinals expected to select a new Pope before Easter, 2013.
