Jay-R , Corinne, Gourmet Farms. Love at first sight

The allure of Tagaytay didn't escape Corinne and my radar when we were beginning preparations for our wedding. But little did we know that we would find the most idyllic location a few kilometers away at Gourmet Farms in Silang.

It was love at first sight. Yes, between Corinne and myself. But also between us and Gourmet Farms. One weekend in February 2012, a few months prior to our big day, we drove to Cavite with a list of recommended wedding destinations.

The first stop was Gourmet Farms... and to cut the long story short, it was the only stop we made that day. After seeing The Dining Room, St. Joseph's Sanctuary, and the vast rows of vegetable plantation, we felt that we found the ideal place for our wedding.

It helped that we were accommodated by a friendly staff who were more than eager to listen to our needs and preferences.

Come the big day, we were in awe of the simple yet elegant arrangement at the chapel which highlighted the place's closeness to Mother Nature. After the wedding, we heard nothing but praise from our guests about Gourmet Farms--the place, the food and the people.

Overall, Corinne and I appreciate the help afforded to us by the staff in making our wedding truly remarkable... something only God could have written.

"I just visited Gourmet Farms this past weekend and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to get out of Manila for an afternoon (or even a night). They are located in Cavite City, very close to Tagaytay. My family and I toured their farm, where they grow their own organic vegetables and herbs. For 100 pesos, you can tour the grounds and receive an ice tea. They also have horseback riding available, along with many farm animals that the kids enjoyed seeing (sheep, goats, ducks, pigs, cats).  They sell a lot of their products in the stores here in Manila, so it’s interesting to go see how it’s grown and enjoy some fresh, clean air while you tour their grounds. They also have a great restaurant with plenty of healthy and delicious choices, and be sure to try their fantastic coffee as well."

“Oh! Thank you for all the wonderful arrangements!”  Anthony’s mother opined, “I chose the place, you know, and I knew it would be the perfect choice.  I’m bringing home all the delicious left-overs including the rice!”  Her husband Richard said it all, “Everything was perfect – the place, the décor, the food, the service.  We shall keep coming back…read more

" I'm glad that I chose Gourmet to be the venue for our wedding. It was just how I imagined our wedding to look like. Our guests loved the way the garden was set-up. They said that it was very intimate and personal. They also loved the food which was an important factor for us. We wanted to give our guests a good experience since they travelled all the way to Tagaytay. Gourmet helped us create a memorable evening for us and our guests. Our guests were still talking about how much they loved our wedding even months after we got married. "
