"I just visited Gourmet Farms this past weekend and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to get out of Manila for an afternoon (or even a night). They are located in Cavite City, very close to Tagaytay. My family and I toured their farm, where they grow their own organic vegetables and herbs. For 100 pesos, you can tour the grounds and receive an ice tea. They also have horseback riding available, along with many farm animals that the kids enjoyed seeing (sheep, goats, ducks, pigs, cats). They sell a lot of their products in the stores here in Manila, so it’s interesting to go see how it’s grown and enjoy some fresh, clean air while you tour their grounds. They also have a great restaurant with plenty of healthy and delicious choices, and be sure to try their fantastic coffee as well."
